Dr. Charlotte di Vita MBE – Chairman

Charlotte di Vita is a highly regarded social entrepreneur and visionary. Her vision is to help alleviate poverty in developing countries and contribute to the protection of the environment. She created 21st Century Leaders® in order to make a change in the world.

1992: Charlotte's first trading ventures enabled over USD 5 million to be returned to producer communities in 21 developing countries, assisting them to become self-supporting through sustainable trade.

1997:  Registered Trade plus Aid® as a charitable trust in England and Wales in order to donate surplus profits from her trading companies to development projects designed to alleviate poverty in some of the world's poorest communities.

1998:  Launched her first collection of miniature enamels into a buoyant UK collectibles market to instant success. The Charlotte di Vita Collections® is now recognised internationally as a leading miniature enamels collectibles brand and has annual retail sales of £3 million.

1998: Awarded MBE by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for her work with Trade plus Aid®.

2003: Inaugurated as Goodwill Ambassador for the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund.

2003: Founded 21st Century Leaders®, opening three offices in London, LA, and New York to begin collecting the celebrity patrons and artworks.

2003:  Received the Pilkington Window to the World Award at the prestigious Woman of the Year Lunch and Assembly.

2004:  Received the Honorary Achievement Award at the UK giftware industry awards.

2005:  Received an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration from Huddersfield University.

2006 - 2022: Launched 21st Century Leaders events with celebrity leaders, helping to raise USD $104.6 million for international development causes
